(Video) Sports: ESPN Investigating Reporter Britt McHenry After She Disrespected Tow Company Employee

Seriously people like this make me sick. ESPN’s Britt McHenry is coming under fire after a video of her disrespecting and belittling a tow truck employee went viral.

McHenry obviously feels she is a privileged woman who doesn’t have to live by rules that we all live by. Perhaps she is use to getting whatever she wants, which includes jobs because of her looks, or maybe nobody ever said no to her. Regardless her car was towed because she was parked somewhere she wasn’t supposed to be and instead of owning it and just paying the fee and moving on she had to make sure to talk down to the woman in the office and remind her how much better her own life is compared to hers.

The funny thing is the woman even tried to do McHenry a favor and warn her about the camera recording her and she might not want to say anything crazy. McHenry who claims to be so smart looks right at the camera and proceeds to talk like a complete idiot anyway.

Here is the statement from the tow company:

I have the entire transaction on video tape of Brittany McHenry. I have her insulting the dispatcher telling her to lose weight and belittling her for doing her job. As a woman in the public eye and posting on her Facebook page about negative words hurting others, is this appropriate? She parked her car and came back 2 hours after the establishment closed (meaning she was not a customer the whole time) and insulted another woman’s weight. Is THIS ok?

And when I post the video you’ll say I deserved to be called fat. Bottom line is she got towed. She should not have left her car unattended in a private lot to patronize another bar. Be angry or upset, you don’t insult someone’s looks because you think you’re above them.

Sounds like what happened to McHenry has happened to millions of people but again she felt she was special. It was her own fault and while everyone gets mad if their car is towed, you don’t bash the worker because of your own stupidity. Also I have seen McHenry refer to herself as someone younger girls can look up to and I doubt any parent would want their daughter looking up to a woman who is obviously very nasty and far from humble off camera.

Hopefully ESPN does the right thing and disciplines her because they have handed out punishment to employees for less than this. Trust all of us Britt, you did not get to your current position based on your skills and intelligence alone. I would bet my life there are thousand of women more qualified with a deeper love of sports but just don’t “look” like you.
