(Video + Photos) New Kickstarter Campaign Seeking To Beat Nike In Auto-Lacing Shoes
I truly love any product that reminds of Back to the Future Part II, and auto-lacing shoes are the product that making noise now. Nike has already announced that they will have a pair in 2015. However, now a Canadian startup is going to Kickstarter to beat Nike to punch. Their shoe is called Powerlace P-One shoes. The Powerlace feature a non-electric system that relies on your body weight to tighten the laces. This truly interesting have your lace tied to fit a person body weight.

If you are wondering how this is possible, well it works by your heel pressure. As soon as you step in the shoes, your heel presses down on a concealed disc, which is linked by wires to the laces. A lever attached to the back of the shoe allows you to release pressure to loosen the lace to your desire. The company is seeking $650,000 CAD about $577,000 to make Powerlace a reality. The sneakers cost starting from $175 CAD ($155) for early birds and $195 CAD ($173) for everyone else, which I doubt people would buy. The shoe is really unattractive and not fashionable like Nike shoes, but people will aid them because it’s a good ideal.
