(Photos) Sports: Drake Opens Sports & Entertainment Club In Honor Of His Grandparents
Drake paid tribute to the memory of his grandparents Rueben and Evelyn Sher by opening Sher Club, a sports and entertainment club in Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
In an Instagram post, he revealed that sports were central to his relationship with the Shers, noting that his grandmother was the first person to play catch with him, and his grandfather was the “biggest sports fan in the world.”
The club is going to be super exclusive, at least for now. It will open to members only, and is currently invite only. The club will be open during all events at the Air Canada Centre.
Sher Club is in collaboration with Maple Leafs Sports Entertainment, the ACC, and Ferris Rafauli, an architectural designer who builds ultra-luxury homes and spaces for elite clientele. Rafauli’s website describes the Sher Club as “the most exclusive establishment inside Air Canada Centre, tucked away in an intimate 4,000 sq. ft. space” and promises “a whirlwind of exquisite taste and top-notch service.”
