(Photo) Kylie Jenner’s Black Face Drama On Instagram Still Going

Kylie Jenner recently posted a photo on her Instagram that cause a lot of hubbub. But was it really black face?

First, you need to really understand what black face is and where it comes from.

It is a style of entertainment based on racist Black stereotypes
that began in minstrel shows and continues today…Originating in the White man’s characterizations of plantation slaves and free blacks during the era of minstrel shows (1830-1890), the caricatures took such a firm hold on the American imagination that audiences expected any person with dark skin, no matter what their background, to conform to one or more of the stereotypes…

So now, let’s consider Kylie Jenner’s post (see the gallery). Seriously? You be the judge, I can’t even. Initially the drama shook her and she took the photo down. Later, they were re-posted with the caption, “This is a black light and neon lights. People lets all calm down.”

Who else thinks big sis Khloe had something to say about it? LOL…
