Rick Ross, Eminem And Beyonce Debuts On The New Revamped BillBoard 200 List

Billboard recently announced that they will recondition their album chart format. As of early December, On demand streaming and digital track sales will now be counted along with album sales and most popular album of the week.
Data leading up to the Thanksgiving weekend will also be considered mainly because it’s a active time of the year for music.
1,500 song streams from a artist album is equivalent to one album sale, and 10 digital tracks from an artist album is also equivalent to one album sale.
With that being said debuting in at number one the new Billboard 200 is Taylor Swift. Taylor “1989” album moved a total 339,000 units. 281,000 of those units were based off album sales alone.
Coming in at 2 is Pentatonix their “That’s Christmas To Me” album moved a total 227,000 units.
Ranked third is Eminem and Shady Records. “Shady XV” moved 148,000 units.
Fourth is One Direction their album “Four” moved 125,000 units.
Fifth was Sam Smith. His “In The Lonely Hour” moved 79,000 units.
Rick Ross also made the list. His Hood Billioniare album debuted at number 6 and moved 79,000 units.
Beyonce self titles album debuted at number 8. “Beyonce” moved more than 79,000 units.
