Today eating and shopping are the two main focuses in peoples brains. 12% of Americans will go shopping today looking for great deals. That may not sound like a lot but that’s 36 million people, in a nation built up of more 300 million. 86% of people plan to eat turkey today, no big surprise there, but the number has gone down slightly since 1992 were it stood at 91%. CNN got their numbers from a poll they conducted on the telephone from November 21-23, asking 1,045 Americans various questions and tracking the responses.
