Today is the last Thursday in November we all know what that means. It’s time again for family’s to gather around with loved ones, and share stories from the last few months, and plan for things to come. Your aunt asks what you want for Christmas, your cousin brags about his fantasy football squad, as the little ones run around wound up from all the energy in the room and the soda in their cups. It’s also time to give thanks for all the blessings the year has bestowed on us, and to reflect on our progress. Next comes the cornbread, candy yams, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mac and cheese, collard greens, green beans, turkey, ice cream, pumpkin and apple pie.
Now with a full stomach, you make your way to the couch and watch the Packers game at Lambo in the snow as Aaron Rodgers marches the Pack down the field on a game winning drive, as time expires.
